Operations Director Kilkern Civils Ltd

Damien joined Kilkern in October 2018 as the Operations Director for our civil engineering contracting business Kilkern Civils Ltd. Damien is from Leeds West Yorkshire and has a HND in civil engineering. Damien started on the tools and worked his way up starting as a pipe-layer, ground-worker and plant operator and then becoming a foreman, site engineer, site manager and contracts manager through studying part time whilst at work. Damien has a wealth of experience delivering complex civil engineering projects for many clients including Balfour Beatty and Costain. Damien has worked for both subcontractors including K Rouse and GPL Group and main contractors. In his spare time Damien enjoys playing golf and supporting his local rugby club Leeds Rhinos.

Carly is from Luton Bedfordshire. Carly started with Kilkern in September 2018 and is currently studying for a level 2 REC recruitment resourcing course. Carly is a professional florist and was the chief florist at the Dorchester Hotel. At Kilkern Carly specialises in the recruitment of professional staff on a permanent and contract basis. In the past Carly has competed at county level horse jumping shows throughout the UK.

Oliver is from Harpenden Hertfordshire. Oliver joined Kilkern in December 2017. Oliver is responsible for work winning at Kilkern and also looking after our existing customers. Prior to Kilkern Oliver worked in the sports sales. Oliver is a keen sportsman and plays golf and football and represented Hertfordshire in cricket. Oliver has also worked as a cricket coach.

Patrick started Kilkern in 2010. Patrick has a degree in psychology and a masters degree in human resource management. Patrick worked on construction sites for Barhale in various skilled trades positions eventually becoming Barhale’s HR Manager. At Kilkern Patrick likes to be hands on and enjoys the business development and also the operations side of the business. Patrick is working on the strategic development of Kilkern so that we can offer a greater range of services to our clients. Patrick in his spare time likes playing tennis and flying helicopters and spending time with the family.

Sarah Tuck

Business Manager

Sarah is from Markyate Hertfordshire and joined Kilkern as an apprentice recruitment consultant in November 2013. Sarah worked an an assistant manager for Monsoon Accessorise in the retail sector prior to joining Kilkern. Sarah runs the Kilkern recruitment business and also operates as an Account Manager to our highest profile clients. Sarah completed her nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification two years ago and is now studying for a level 5 diploma in recruitment leadership. Sarah used to play Lacrosse competitively and now in her spare time enjoys going to the gym, exercising travelling and cooking. Sarah also does make up appointments for special occasions and weddings.

Victoria is from Markyate Hertfordshire and joined Kilkern in October 2014. Victoria specialises in the recruitment of trades and labour and also professional and technical staff. Victoria is also responsible for maintaining the companies quality standards including the achilles link up and UVDB pre-qualification systems. Victoria has a Diploma in health and social care and is studying at Kilkern for a level 4 Diploma in recruitment management. Victoria loves the outdoors and at the weekends and during the holidays enjoys walking and cycling and plans to do the national parks three peaks challenge in 2019.
